On November 6, the curators of FOUR SQUARE offered 80 faculty members of the College of Architecture and Design at Lawrence Technological University 4 square feet to share their research, thinking and creative work. The curators gave no restrictions regarding medium, topic or position, provided the work created a clear and compelling glimpse into current thinking and future trajectories.
FOUR SQUARE is an exhibition of this work.
Join us from Thursday, December 6th to Thursday, December 20th to view the compilation and join the conversation.
Visitors will select prizewinning work through an open, crowd-sourced voting process. All events are free and open to the public.

A quick concept sketch
Sitting with the client I made this sketch between bites of my sandwich. We originally developed a single family detached unit for the developer. He later had an opportunity to develop a lot with a duplex unit, so over lunch I made this quick sketch of what a duplex version of a single family unit we did could look like. Each unit is about 1,700 sf with 3 bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 baths.

Recent Project
New detached garage designed to replace existing garage for a single family residence.
The client needed a two-car garage with small workshop and an exercise room. Within the small footprint we provided a flexible garage and workshop space with the exercise space in the attic. The space is heated using a heat pump system.
